A year ago, Bollywood lost one of the greatest talents. Rishi Kapoor who took the Indian cinema to new heights and the one who was called the Chocolate boy of Bollywood in his seventies passed away on April 30, 2020, after valiantly fighting cancer. As today marks his first death anniversary, his family members like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aadar Jain remembered their beloved ‘Chintu’ uncle by sharing his monochrome pictures on their social media accounts, backing with a heart emoticon while Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her husband Bharat Sanhi also shared heartfelt tribute for his late father-in-law.

Bharat also shared a few throwback pictures with Rishi Kapoor and the entire family including, Riddhima, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and his daughter Samaira. Rishi’s daughter penned a beautiful eulogy for him that read, “If only i could hear you call me mushk once more ...“Until we meet again we think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.” – Dorothy Mae Cavendish”. Concluding her note saying, “I love you always”

Even the veteran actor’s wife Neetu wrote an emotional letter saying how she never missed a day discussing or thinking about him as he was an extension of his existence. An excerpt of the letter read, “We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever. We have accepted life will never be the same without him.” Even Arjun Kapoor shared a picture with Senior Kapoor.
